I thought I’d re-share this post from Dec. 12, 2023, as we approach what might be a hard set of holidays for many, since newer subscribers might not have seen it. I’ve been thinking about all the ways we come together to share our reality, and how increasingly necessary that is—to find like-minded people, to focus on what we can do, to care for ourselves and others in all kinds of crises.
